Our purpose is to help provide basic groceries for our church people and area families that are in need for a short time.

We place a strong emphasis on providing nutritional food to those families. Our main source of food comes from the Food Bank of South Central Michigan, located in Battle Creek. We purchase approximately 5,000 pounds or more each year. Also, can goods, cereal, meat, etc. are often donated by the church congregation and community.

In the summer months fresh garden produce is donated and greatly enjoyed by the clients. God is so good to us!

We usually serve 8-12 families or more, twice a month - the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30 AM. Emergency boxes are done when necessary. For further assistance contact the church office at 269-729-5431 or wakesmachurch@yahoo.com
